Alinor is the second novel in Roberta Gellis’s Roselynde Chronicles, a historical romance set in medieval England during the troubled reign of King John. After the death of her beloved husband Simon, the spirited Lady Alinor must protect her lands and her children. She finds new love with the loyal knight Ian de Vipont, though the conflict between the king and his barons threatens them both. Gellis is known for her careful historical research, and this saga will suit readers who enjoy romance set against real political events of the Middle Ages.
